MaMuse is delighted to return to their East Coast home away from home, Vermont for a play in the exquisite Chandler Center for the Arts. Sorah and Karisha will be accompanied by gifted guitarist Scott Ferreter and genius Nate Dittle on keys. The musical partnership between Alasdair Fraser, long regarded as Scotland's premier fiddle ambassador, and the sizzlingly-talented Californian cellist Natalie Haas may not seem an obvious one, but the duo's dazzling teamwork, driving rhythms, and their shared passion for improvising on the melody and the groove of Scottish tunes has helped reconstruct and revive the Scottish tradition of playing dance music on violin and cello.

After a hiatus, the popular next Generation performances are back. In 2007, to kick off Chandler's centennial celebration, pianist Christopher O'Riley brought his acclaimed NPR Boston "From the Top" program to the Chandler stage to much audience enthusiasm. Chandler decided to create something similar and for fourteen years enjoyed this engaging look-alike program with young teenage musicians from our own area playing classical music.

Bach's St. John Passion
