Honoring Chandler's centennial, the internationally-acclaimed Music from Copland House Ensemble takes listeners on a celebratory journey across the American musical landscape to the days when Chandler Music Hall's cornerstone was laid. ﾠThis vibrant program harkens back to the era of ragtime, Victorian parlors, camp meetings, and the horse-and-buggy with music by turn-of-the-last-century American masters Scott Joplin, Charles Ives, and Amy Beach, and returns to our own time with works by the incomparable Aaron Copland, Emmy Award-winning John Musto, and one of today's most honored young composers, former Vermonter Pierre Jalbert. Central Vermont Chamber Music Festival fans will welcome back pianist, Michael Boriksin, Artistic and Executive Director of Copland House.
