BURN THE MORTGAGE MATCHING CHALLENGE
Every $1 contributed by August 31—up to $100,000—will be fully matched by generous donors eager to ensure that the remaining $300,000 in Centennial Project debt can be repaid by the year-end deadline.
Thanks to the support of more than 750 donors from all across the country, the recently completed Chandler Centennial Project is a great success, with improvements throughout the building.
-
Local, regional, and national artists now perform and exhibit in a fully accessible, code-compliant building that is energy-efficient.
-
Our beautifully renovated and inviting spaces are now alive with community gatherings, workshops, and arts education activities.
-
The new plaza, restroom suite, and improved traffic flow have now made the building much more welcoming and usable.
-
The restored Upper Gallery, with new lighting and screening equipment, has now become a perfect space for Live & Upstairs events and Film Society evenings.
Of the $3.8 million project cost, $300,000 remains to be repaid to lenders. To retire this debt by December 31, 2013, we’ve just launched the final fundraising effort to “Burn the Mortgage”. We need your help to make this happen!
See the Burn the Mortgage brochure.
Join in an Exciting, Limited-time Opportunity!
Every dollar contributed by August 31 to Chandler will be fully matched by generous donors who recognize the importance of this project to community members, patrons and performers. For every $100 donated, Chandler receives $200. A gift of $1,000 becomes $2,000; $5,000 becomes $10,000. In addition to donations by check or credit card, gifts of appreciated stock or IRA distributions will qualify for this matching opportunity.
We are grateful for the generosity that has brought us this far. Please dig deep to secure Chandler’s future as a regional arts center by making a generous contribution to the Burn the Mortgage campaign. While ticket sales, rentals, and annual giving support ongoing programs, generous donations to this special challenge are needed to retire our debt.
Chandler – a glorious blend of old and new, a place to become involved and inspired, where shared experience deepens connections, where the arts and community meet.
