Chandler is proud to present another exciting season of diverse performances. In addition to our MainStage series, we offer Live & Upstairs, a series of smaller, more intimate performances in the renovated Esther Mesh Room in Chandler’s Upper Gallery. The Daytime Performance Series serves hundreds of youth from area schools and homeschool families, and is open to the general public, as well.

The 2018-2019 Season
Kelly MacFarland has an extensive and well-rounded comedy resume that includes performances at the nation’s top comedy clubs, theaters, and colleges, as well as international tours entertaining U.S. troops overseas. She has headlined the Boston Women in Comedy Festival and been named “Best of the Fest” at the prestigious Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival. She is the host of the web series Fit or Fad and has been a frequent guest on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. An accomplished improviser as well, MacFarland has been a resident cast member of the ImprovBoston National Touring Company since 2014. MacFarland will host the evening of hilarity, introducing each of her fellow comics, interspersed with her own standup routine.
Smart, sexy, savvy, and funny, Leighann Lord’s “heads-up humor” is standup comedy at its finest. Inspired by the brilliance of George Carlin and the elegance of Rita Rudner – both idols of hers – Lord calls her standup work “thinking cap comedy.” She has been honored with a New York City Black Comedy Award as the “the Big Apple’s most thought-provoking black female comic” and has served as Harlem Week’s “official comedian” for two consecutive years – a distinction previously held only by Richard Pryor.
Patty Rosborough is a top New York-based comic with a long list of credits, including headlining at Montreal’s world-renowned Just for Laughs Festival and co-hosting Comedy Central’s Short Attention Span Theater with Jon Stewart. Comedy fans have cheered her breathless, frenetic, and shamelessly uninhibited performances at every major comedy club and festival throughout the United States.
The cool comic trio of MacFarland, Lord, and Rosborough will be joined at Chandler by a rising star on the national comedy scene – Olga Namer, winner of the 2018 National Comedy Newcomer Competition. Namer was also the winner of the Smart Aleck Comedy Festival competition in 2017. She has since appeared regularly at New York’s most celebrated comedy venues, including the West Side Comedy Club and The Comic Strip. Born in Brooklyn and raised in an Orthodox Jewish household, Namer brings a unique point of view to comedy that has been described as “funny, honest, authentic, and sarcastic.” Inspired by Sarah Silverman and Larry David, Namer is currently working on an hour-long performance piece about her life.
