Chandler Gallery | Open Call for Art Submissions

Area Artist Exhibit

May 7- June 11, 2022

Chandler Gallery, Randolph, Vermont

Chandler Gallery invites local talent to join our annual open-call Area Artist Exhibit. Our theme, “ART FOR ALL,” is open to your artistic interpretation of social justice issues.

ART FOR ALL reflects an endless variety of social issues, such as the question of life inequality, poverty, health and education, government mandates, materialism, social media propagating bad vices, cyberbullying, hate speech, animal abuse and protection, warfare, sustaining life on Earth and many more. We aim to exhibit a diverse collection of colorful 2D and 3D art in all media: drawing, painting, printing, illustration, photography, digital art, sculpture, video, mixed media, and decorative art (textiles and fabric, glass, wood, metal, ceramics, mosaic, paper or other techniques).

The theme ART FOR ALL can be interpreted representationally or symbolically. Social issues impact every person within our society. It's an intense topic of conversation, where people from all backgrounds are trying to find solutions. How do you see and interpret social issues using artistic shapes and patterns? What makes you pause and think about these issues by using art?

Area artists 18 years and older with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience are invited to submit their art. Chandler will accept up to four pieces and commit to exhibiting at least two from each artist. Recent work that has not been displayed at Chandler before will be accepted.

·       Chandler takes a 30% commission on sold work. We also accept work that is not for sale.

·       The registration fee is $10.

·       If you are an artist who’s interested in offering a workshop or a special demonstration during the show, please email us at
