Chase away the winter blues at a Hawaiian beach party to benefit Chandler, set for Mari Castle on Saturday, March 10
Break out the shorts, sandals, and brightly colored tropical shirt! It’s time to shake off those winter blues as the Chandler Center for the Arts stages a festive fundraiser at Mari Castle – the historic home of Albert B. Chandler at 41-43 Main Street in Randolph – on Saturday, March 10, from 6 to 9 pm.
Chandler is really turning up the heat for this sumptuous tropical outing. Partygoers will be festooned at the door with colorful leis in traditional Hawaiian style. Tropically themed hors d’oeuvres and finger foods will be served, as will rum punch and other summery beverages. (You can BYOB, too!) A tropical dessert contest will be held, with the winner receiving two tickets to an upcoming Chandler performance. Summertime tunes will be playing, accompanying hula hooping and limbo dancing as the night unfolds.
Tickets are $30 each and attendance is limited. To reserve your spot, send a check, payable to the Chandler Center for the Arts, to Joan Miles, 980 Stock Farm Road, Randolph, VT 05060. Credit card orders can be placed by telephone to Emily Crosby at (802) 728-6464 or in person during the Chandler Box Office hours, 12-4pm weekdays, at 71-73 Main Street in Randolph. Tickets will be sold at the door only if space is available.
