Calling all actors, singers, and community performers!
The Chandler Players invite you to participate in their timely production of A Peasant of El Salvador, an acclaimed play by Vermont playwrights Peter Gould and Stephen Stearns, directed by Dominic Spillane.This is a rare opportunity for performers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to come together to create something meaningful. Whether you're a seasoned actor looking for a substantial speaking role, new to theatre, or simply curious about being part of a production, there's a place for you!
A community-driven production, focused on the life of a Salvadoran peasant during the events leading to that country's civil war, it will feature live music performed at every show by Grammy-Award-winning composer Ernesto Villalobos. This is a partnership with Migrant Justice Vermont, working to assist migrants from El Salvador and other Latin American countries.
Auditions at Chandler Center for the Arts:

Performances will take place in March 2027 at Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph and Winooski Middle & High School.
