Beth Telford and Justin Park perform music from their Cape Breton repertoire and some holiday classics! Between their fiddle and guitar they offer tight interplay, vibrant energy, and a fresh take on classic tunes.
Beth began playing classical violin at age 8, eventually serving as the concertmaster of the Rhode Island Youth orchestra and the Rhode Island all-state orchestra. She took up the fiddle in her early 20s, and has played traditional fiddle music with various duos and trios in Vermont since 1983. Beth specializes in Celtic music, particularly the music of Cape Breton, and studied with the legendary Cape Breton fiddler, Jerry Holland. In addition to playing concerts, dances, and weddings, Beth has taught fiddle to scores of area students of all ages and has run a Cape Breton fiddle and dance camp for many years.
Justin Park (mandolin, guitar, vocals) has performed at Chandler Music Hall, New World Festival, and Bluegrass Brunch already this year. You may have caught him with Beth, Trifolium, or Mountain Dog.
